about the gig
The Digital Account Manager is responsible for the successful sales of Bugaboo products with online retailers. This includes the development, account management, and the execution of tactical programs to grow our business with online only accounts, resulting in increased brand awareness and consumer experience. 

role and responsibilities will include:

general responsibilities

  • Must be effective at prioritization, be a team player and self-starter with the ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in consumer product websites and direct marketing programs; candidate should have successful and well-rounded experience with e-commerce and traditional retail marketing experience
  • Thorough knowledge of qualitative research methodologies, including experience in qualitative user testing; experience with quantitative methodology helpful.
  • Solid understanding of web metrics and how data is used to drive optimization.

digital account management responsibilities

  • Be the account manager for pure player customers – and gain and share insights into their selling patterns and key success factors for Bugaboo
  • Responsible for opening new online accounts that are aligned with the brand
  • Gain and share insights into the on-line propositions of other Bugaboo key retailers
  • Perform business planning based on market potential, marketing activities, product roadmap, bugaboo roadmap
  • Responsible for timely and effective reporting on sales trends vs. bugaboo goals
  • Research industry trends and provide competitive analysis to identify white space and online opportunities.
  • Identify assortment opportunities and drive expanded assortment growth with online partners in-line with brand & overall business success.
  • Optimize navigation and merchandising within online partners sites for optimum conversion.


minimum requirements
specific knowledge:

  • Experience in Sales and Account management of a premium consumer brand for online only retail accounts is required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in site merchandising and administration required.
  • E-commerce/web marketing experience to drive on-line performance is essential
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to build and nurture strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong retail business acumen supporting ability to develop account plans with accuracy & deliver within set deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred.
