about the gig
This is a role up the sleeve’s position with some cool projects and initiatives coming! With operations excellence and continuous improvement being the end goal, reengineer, create and analyze processes and project areas in Bugaboo North America’s logistics and operations. This isn’t just a numbers gig. We are looking for the individual in this role to improve collaboration between our company’s operation and our customers and make a positive impact to the organization. This position in the Bugaboo North America organization reports to the Operations Director.
role and responsibilities will include:
partial areas of responsibility
Operations excellence and continuous improvement oriented
Inventory management skills and detailed oriented (experience being through an ERP launch a plus)
Project management skills with a 3PL are key (Project managing a 3PL not necessarily working for one)
Great understanding of logistics processes in a 3PL environment
Analytical process view and able to document processes in process-flow
Assist with customer compliance with national retail accounts
Social skills, flexible and ability to work under stressful conditions
Experience with high end / quality consumer products
Organizational awareness of interaction/targets between departments
Have a curious and critical mind to investigate the details of responsible processes
4-5 years experience in dynamic work field and international environment
4-5 years experience in logistics/supply chain /order entry/customer service environment
2-3 years project management and operations excellence experience a plus
Bachelor of Science or Arts. Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics/Operations Management a plus
